2003-2008 Z4 (E85)

Z4 Clear WindBlocker / WindScreen available for the 2003-2008 E85 Z4 roadster. There is another Clear WindBlocker (above) for the NEW 2009-later E89 Z4.

Here is an easy to install clear acrylic windblocker that requires no cutting or drilling to install. It installs in just 20 minutes and there are no tools required. It reduces those chilling drafts, quiets your cockpit significantly, and yet doesn't affect the view through the rear view mirror as the mesh design does. The center section is removable as well as the roll hoop inserts when you want to feel the wind on the back of your neck. This product has a 3 year manufacturer's limited warranty for material defects. Yes, it does fit all Z4s and ///M roadsters. Please indicate when placing your order if your ///M roadster has extended leather (leather covered roll hoops) fitment will change, but we need to change the brackets & the roll hoop panels will not work for this application. This WindBlocker's center panel (.235" or 6mm thick) attaches to the roll hoop covers using a two sided removable automotive adhesive (if removed you may have to replace the adhesive).

This is a must for all roadster owners.

The rubber seals around the convertible top on your roadster are a critical maintenance area. Over time the rubber dries out and shrinks which creates water leaks and wind noise and cracks in the rubber. If your top leaks this most likely will solve your problem.

Wurth, a trusted name in automotive lubricants, Rubber Care is the same formula as Gummi Pflege Rubber Maintenance that is no longer available from BMW (Part Number 82-14-9-407-015) just in aerosol form. It is perfect for protecting and revitalizing rubber seals. Resistant to dilute acids, alkalis, spray and salt water. Does not attack painted or chrome plated parts. Applying to door & window seals will keep the inside of your car watertight. To remain functional, door and window seals should be treated 3 to 4 times a year. Use your can of Gummi Pflege to treat all rubber seals.

To use, shake can, apply to a clean cloth, wipe over your door, window, hood, trunk, and most importantly your convertible top seals. Allow the Gummi Pflege protectant to soak in and dry (do not wipe it off, let it sink in).

 A HANDY TOOL FOR CHANGING WHEELS

Since BMWs have lug BOLTS instead of lug NUTS, there is nothing to hold the wheel against the hub when the bolts are removed and it simply drops. This is not very user-friendly and you have to be ready to hold the wheel and support the weight when the bolts are removed. Sometimes the wheel can drop and scratch itself against the exposed wheel hub.  The set of two BMW Universal Wheel Pins solves this problem.

Simply remove two of the lug bolts and screw in a Wheel Pin in each location, then remove the remaining lug bolts. The Wheel Pins support the weight of the wheel so you can simply pull the wheel toward you and it will slide off the end of the Wheel Pins. Reverse the procedure for mounting the wheel by sliding two of the wheel holes onto the Wheel Pins and push the wheel against the hub. Insert two lug bolts to hold the wheel in place and then remove the Wheel Pins and install the remaining lug bolts. The photo shows a hole drilled in the end of the tool but that is unnecessary and has been eliminated. Fits all BMWs.

This is the perfect accessory and a must have item for any Roadster enthusiast!
